A California original, Monterey Jack was originally made by Franciscan monks of Monterey, California during the 1800s and later marketed by businessman David Jacks, hence the name Monterey Jack. This organic version is a pale yellow semi hard cheese, with a creamy texture and a mild flavor.

Rumianos organic Monterey Jack color is a direct result from the high butterfat organic Jersey cows milk that it is made from. Rich Jersey cows milk also gives it a creamy buttery texture and mild flavor. Organic Monterey Jack is a versatile cheese eaten as a snack with bread or crackers or used in cooked foods. This cheese is Certified Organic, Kosher, American Humane Certified and Non-GMO Verified.
