As delicious as it is, it does spoil. Be sure to check the expiration date on the back of the loaf and/or freeze it as soon as you receive it to keep it fresh! You can find the expiration date on the clip that closes the bread bag, just like standard bakeries do. You can refrigerate it for a short time, but fresh bread with no preservatives needs to be handled with care.

If you want it to last for 60 days, you absolutely must freeze it. The few days in transit will not harm it, but if you leave it on the counter, it will only last a couple days, and in the refrigerator it will only last for about a week.
