Celebrate The Heartwarming Polish Christmas Tradition Of Oplatki With This Thoughtfully Packaged Set, Featuring Two Decorative Nativity Envelopes, Each Containing Two White Christmas Wafers And One Pink Christmas Wafer. Highlighting The Oplatki Prayer On The Back, These Envelopes Offer A Meaningful Way To Share Blessings And Celebrate The Holiday Season.

Made In Poland, The Wafers Are Crafted From Simple, Natural Ingredients-Wheat Flour And Water-Honoring A Centuries-Old Tradition. Oplatki, Or ''Christmas Wafers,'' Represent Peace, Unity, And Forgiveness. Derived From The Latin ''Oblatum,'' Meaning ''Sacrificial Offering,'' These Delicate, Rectangular Wafers Are Embossed With Intricate Nativity Designs, Connecting Them To The Spiritual Essence Of Christmas.

Their Resemblance To Communion Wafers Underscores Their Sacred Symbolism Within Polish Culture. On Christmas Eve, Or Wigilia, Families Gather For A Festive Meal, Starting With The Sharing Of Oplatki. The Tradition Begins With The Head Of The Household Blessing The Wafers And Breaking Them Into Pieces To Share With Family Members.

This Intimate Gesture Expresses Well-Wishes, Forgiveness, And Gratitude, Symbolizing Love And Unity. Many Families Also Extend This Heartfelt Tradition To Include Neighbors, Friends, And Even Pets, Recognizing The Blessings They Bring To The Home. With Themes Of Reconciliation, Gratitude, And Togetherness, Oplatki Adds A Profound Layer Of Meaning To Christmas Celebrations, Creating Cherished Moments That Connect Family, Faith, And Community.
