Here at Merchant Gourmet were all about the food. Its what we love and what we live for! And its this passion for exciting flavours and new ingredients which drove us in the very beginning. We launched back in 1985, inspired by a nations growing appetite for unique, innovative foods.

We were one of the first to bring exciting ingredients such as Dried Porcini Mushrooms, Sun Dried Tomatoes and Puy Lentils to the masses. Keeping a close eye on both food and lifestyle trends we developed to also include products that are timesaving and convenient such as ready to eat pulses and grains.
