About this item

Locatelli is a brand name of cheese and Pecorino Romano is a variety of cheese. The Locatelli family began producing Pecorino Romano over 500 years ago in the Lazio region of Italy. Today, Locatelli Pecorino Romano is considered to be one of the finest Pecorino Romanos available.

It is unique in quality because it is hand-crafted from 100% pure sheeps milk which when aged over 9 months at a minimum, the result is an aged, spicy and sharp, dry cheese that is perfect for a grating cheese. We like to cut up some small pieces and enjoy it as a snacking cheese, accompanied with traditional Italian antipasti and even artisanal Italian honey and compotes.

Common questions

AUTHENTICITYIs this the maker's own product?

Yes. Every product is bought new in the USA from the brand or an established US grocer, and if one is ever found not to be genuine, we refund you in full.

DELIVERYHow long does delivery take?

3 to 4 days door to door for this item, including the time we take to place your order with the brand or retailer. Every parcel travels with a carrier tracking number.

PRICINGWhat does the price include?

Nothing is added at checkout: there is no shipping charge. Every price is for the whole package, never a cost per serving.

ALLERGENSWhere are the ingredients and allergens?

We show the ingredients and allergen statement the maker publishes. Recipes change, so the label on the package you receive always governs: read it before you open or eat anything.

RETURNSWhat if it arrives damaged or past its date?

Email photographs to hello@kitchenspread.com within 7 days of delivery and we refund the full amount or send a replacement at no cost. Food cannot be resold once delivered, so change-of-mind returns cannot be accepted.
