Ingredients: Stone Ground Whole Grain Yellow Corn. No additives or preservatives. Some people prefer more of a fine ground cornmeal, which is good for some applications, but this is much more of a coarse ground cornmeal that is actually ground on a stone like has been done for thousands of years.

This cornmeal, sometimes called corn flour can be used to make Corn Bread. If you are making home made pizza (like at Bobs Pizza Cafe), a little cornmeal at the bottom of the dough is a great addition. See our other products red mill cornmeal as well as blue cornmeal (blue corn masa harina).

Southern Cornbread Recipe 1 1/2 cup Lambs Stone Ground Yellow Cornmeal 1/2 cup wheat flour or corn flour 2 tsp sugar 4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup whole milk 1/4 cup oil 2 eggs (farm fresh) Preheat oven to 400 degrees and place 9 cast iron skillet in oven. Mix all ingredients in medium size bowl.

Pour mixture into greased preheated skillet or 9x9 baking pan. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 6-8 servings Tips: For sweeter cornbread, use 1/2 cup of sugar instead of 2 tsp.
