Masala Boondi or Masala Nukti is a popular and flavorful Indian snack that consists of small, crispy gram flour droplets seasoned with a blend of spices. Masala Boondi or Masala Nukti is made by deep-frying a batter of gram flour (besan) mixed with spices and seasonings. The batter is typically prepared by combining besan with water and adding spices like red chili powder, turmeric, cumin powder, and salt.

This mixture is then dropped through a ladle and a special perforated spoon into hot oil, resulting in small, round droplets. After frying, the boondis or nuktis become crispy and acquire a distinctive texture. They are then seasoned with additional spices like chaat masala, black salt, and powdered herbs to enhance their flavor profile.

The end result is a savory and tangy snack that is enjoyed by people of all ages. The deep-frying process gives Masala Boondi or Masala Nukti a satisfyingly crispy texture. The small size of the droplets ensures a delightful crunch with every bite. Masala Boondi or Masala Nukti is a versatile snack that can be enjoyed in various ways.
