Heat – TOSS Ground Cayenne Pepper measures 90,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). The Scoville scale is a measurement of the pungency of chili peppers, based on the concentration of capsaicinoids, among which capsaicin is the predominant component (its what make peppers feel hot). Our Cayenne has more than 2x the potency of other Cayenne powders measuring just 40,000.

You can use less than half of ours to have the same effect, or use the same amount to have more than twice the heat power.
